| Description: | Plans and manages activities of a designated project to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and within funding parameters by performing any combination of all essential duties and responsibilities. |
| Duties: | The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and manage the sales direction of assigned customer programs. This will include actively managing sales development and production launch, controlling the program timing requirements, managing program issues and commercial impact of design changes, forecasting program sales, and establishing a budget. Responsibilities will also include contract reviews, pricing negotiations, and completion of capacity studies. This position will be required to work alongside other sales and engineering program staff to accomplish set goals. This position will also be responsible to help promote or manage future business growth in assigned areas.
Additional responsibilities may include on-site time at customer location(s).
This position will be required to interface with customer, other local support departments, and company support in Japan in addition to successfully coordinating the program. The candidate may occasionally be required to travel locally and to multiple global locations to support project development.
The ability to work independently and with minimal direction is required. Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with customers are also required.

| Qualifications: | The ideal candidate will:
- Possess a bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical area;
- Have a minimum of 6 years applicable experience in automotive powertrain applications;
- Have working knowledge and experience with automotive systems;
- Have working knowledge and experience with DFMEA, Reliability Analysis, APQP, Fuel Injection Systems;
- Experience in electronic control unit components and systems used in automotive applications is a plus;
- Working knowledge and experience with 8D methodology is a plus;
- Have experience tracking and reporting design changes;
- Have experience coordinating and facilitating several small projects or one major project;
Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools and Lotus Notes are also required.
