Sr. Project Engineer

Description:� Oversee the operations of the quality monitoring systems for production.
� Oversee the operations of the machine vision systems (DVT cameras).
� Building and managing project teams and ensuring quality throughout the project lifecycles.
� Works with the quality department to define quality issues and implement corrective action to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
� Prepare proposal documentation and conduct training for employees of different levels, including the operators, technicians and engineers.
� Develop new sensor systems to meet future quality and production requirements.
� Coordinate system installation for the test and measurement systems, including quality monitors, machine vision systems and others.
� Research and survey new technology vision systems to support continuous improvement initiatives.
� Conduct research and development projects related to material processing.
� Support all satellite plants for the above mentioned systems.
� Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:� Strong background and knowledge of electrical and electronic devices.
� Proven experience in the applications of analog and digital signal processing.
� Experience in DVT camera required, PPT & NI camera experience a plus.
� Understand the basics of camera optics, field of view calculation and impact of lighting.
� Proven knowledge of electronic components, such as capacitors, resistors, conductors, simple ICs and circuit board design.
� Proven knowledge and execution of sensors and data acquisition systems.
� Basic experience and knowledge of mill, drill and other cutting tools for metal and plastics.
� Proficient in the use of Windows XP, 7, MS Power Point, Word and MS Excel.
� Programming experience in Visual Basic, VB.Net, C, C++, LabView, MatLab, html and Java (at least two).
� Process mapping skills.
� Proven training skills.
� Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with senior leadership.
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills (leadership, negotiation, influence, mentoring).
� Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
� 7+ years of industrial experience.
� Minimum BS degree with MS preferred in electrical engineering
