Job Description:

Senior professional-level IT Quality Assurance (QA) analytical position typically assigned to complex projects that may cross multiple test environments and business functions. Experience in Test Driven Design and automated testing is preferred. Responsible for: creating test strategies, developing formal test plans; writing test cases/scenarios, and; leading the execution of all types of testing, ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Works on projects of high complexity that may convert project requirements and specifications into testable features and components, documents test defects and issues, resolves problems, and communicates test results and status to key stakeholders and leadership. Incumbents work on projects requiring an advanced knowledge of development methodologies and testing tools, and attention to detail throughout the development life cycle; they lead and coordinate project team test activities, mentor less experienced IT staff, and participate in efforts to raise the level of practice for testing.
