Contract position
Location: Detroit
Key Accountabilities:
� Responsible for leading the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes, including operating and maintaining the enterprise forecasting tools.
� Coordinate business unit budget/forecast submissions and generate the consolidated financial budget/forecast.
� Develop financial planning calendars and work closely with Controller and/or Business Unit personnel to ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of budget and forecast data.
� Analyze complex budget and forecast data in order to prepare corporate & business unit budgets and forecasts. Identify opportunities to improve performance.
� Report and analyze business performance including producing variance reports for business unit. Analyze results, compare actual results to budget and to most current forecast, and prepare inputs to the monthly board reports.
� Monitor work practices and utilize continuous improvement and lean systems methodology to drive out costs and improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
� Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline
� CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
� Three years of financial experience in business, public accounting or financial systems.
� PC proficiency, including experience with MS Office products.
� Expertise in Excel-based financial modeling preferred
� Proficiency with SAP FI, CO, BCS, BW & BEx preferred
� Demonstrated ability to communicate well with others. Proficient verbal, non-verbal, written, and presentation skills. |
