Job Description:
Provides detailed analysis, gathering and defining of business requirements, develop and modify application programs, provide detailed specifications and documentation, communicate with end users and Information Technology management staff, provide ongoing support of application systems, work in a team environment.
Required General Skills:
� Strong business analyst skills as evidenced by the ability to meet with end users and define detailed programming specifications.
� Strong programming skills, experience developing and implementing small to large programming projects.
� Excellent oral and written communication skills.
� Ability to identify and document areas for process improvements.
Preferred Technical Skills:
� 6+ years of experience in application development and support of application systems, developing and modifying application systems (including 1 or more of the following: Visual Basic, .NET, SQL, COBOL, RPG, stored procedures - .NET/SQL preferred)
� 6+ years of experience as a business analyst, gathering and defining of business requirements, developing detailed specifications.
� Ability to detect and troubleshoot application related issues.
� Strong knowledge of stored procedures functions and triggers. Scheduling of application job.
� Experience in file transfers, interface maintenance.
� Strong experience in documentation skills for application processes and procedures.
� Excellent communication skills.
� Ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
� Define business requirements for new application development or modifications.
� Create detailed design specification for application programming.
� Program, test, debug application programs.
� Interface creation and support
