SAS and SQL Programming experience required
Strong communication skills - oral and written with a demonstrated ability to communicate across multiple functional areas and multiple levels of leadership seamlessly
Strong planning skills - ability to manage, plan and monitor several complex assignments simultaneously
Strong knowledge and extensive use of relational databases including manipulation and/or creation of
working knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Basic understanding of healthcare principles
Ability to apply statistical methods to create, evaluate and implement predictive models given limited information
Self motivitated
Ability to work independently with general guidance within a team environment as well as as an individual contributor
Ability to gather, document and comprehend high level business requirements for the purpose of implementing technical robust solutions that meet the requirements
Ability to serve as a liaison between the business and technical stakeholders of modeling efforts
National Health Reform knowledge a plus
Background in actuarial science, applied statistics, economics, healthcare strategy/forecasting or another similar field |
