| Description: | We are searching for an experienced VB.NET programmer to solve complex business problems with automated systems incorporating VB.NET and Oracle Databases.
Our client is an established firm specializing in distribution of audio and video media. They are mid-migration to a rich, web-enabled platform to improve the interface to an ever growing client base.
LOCATION
Toledo, OH area (comfortable commute from Ann Arbor, MI)
COMPENSATION
Up to 50/hr (potentially higher for an exceptional-fit candidate)
DURATION
6 months with extensions likely (possibility for conversion to direct-hire)
REQUIRED
- 10+ years of development experience
- Solid VB.NET development experience
- Experience developing against an Oracle database (Oracle Indexing and Performance Tuning)
- Experience with the following would be beneficial: Win Forms, LINQ, MVC, Team Foundation Server Management
OVERVIEW
This position will analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems incorporating VB.NET and Oracle Databases. This is a contract role to help balance the existing workload, but there is room for someone that can add technical insight and mentorship abilities within this team driven environment.
