We are searching for a Junior .NET Developer to assist with Website development and database programming.
LOCATION
Farmington Hills, MI
COMPENSATION
25-30/hr with a salary conversion in the range of 50-65K
Candidate must possess the desire and ability to learn new skills and take on a wide variety of projects.
DURATION
6 month contract-to-hire
REQUIRED
- Experience with ASP.NET programming, including user interface design and development
- Experience with database design
- Experience with report writing (Crystal or MS Reporting Services preferred)
PREFERRED
- Knowledge of database platforms
- Experience with Microsoft CRM
- Mobile app development a plus
OVERVIEW
- Consults with users, determines application development requirements, and provides recommendations for database, report and interface development. (10%)
- Effectively translate end user programming requirements into working applications. (25%)
- Modify web pages as directed and develop new web pages using .NET and .ASP technology. (30%)
- Develop SQL queries and reports to extract, manipulate, and/or calculate information to fulfill data and reporting requirements. (10%)
- Assist with on-going database support of applications. (5%)
- Work with external programmers and vendors to implement changes to existing applications and in the development of new applications, and to troubleshoot problem areas. (5%)
- Develop scripts, documentation and procedures for database administration within testing and production environments, to include stored procedures, triggers, files, tables, and table spaces. (5%)
- Handle help-desk inquiries from internal and external customers. (2%)
- Assist departmental personnel as necessary in hardware and software integration and in preparation for conventions and events. (1%)
- Represent client at conventions, trade shows, and institute functions. Provide on-site technical support at these events (as needed).
- Troubleshoot reporting and report scheduling issues. (1%)
- Compile ad hoc reports as requested by management. (1%)
- Read, analyze and interpret job related business periodicals and technical manuals; ability to write reports, business correspondence and assist in the preparation of procedure manuals. (1%)
- Develop both stored procedure and report templates as may be required to fulfill data and reporting requirements. (1%)
- Administer the scheduling and posting of reports. (1%)
- Develop and implement scripts to fix database problems. (1%)
- Install software upgrades and new software packages. (1%)
