Senior Operations Manager- Engineering � BPO Solutions - Troy, MI

You will have the opportunity to interact with key decision makers/stakeholders, delivering consultative solutions for tactical/operational services for KellyOCG, BPO.

BPO is a specialized division of KellyOCG that provides outsourcing solutions for the staffing and daily operational management of our client's critical non-core functions and/or departments. BPO assumes total accountability for improving performance and reducing cost through world-class procedures that optimize efficiency and productivity with measurable results.

Duties:The Senior Operations Manager position will be responsible for managing multiple client sites in order to execute the specific program (s) at the sites. This role will focus specifically on sites that are in the Engineering vertical including management/operations, research and development facilities.

Responsible for the effective delivery of Engineering scopes of work across multiple locations
Development of strategic relationships within the clients organization as well as internally at Kelly
Evaluates and recommends changes in methods and procedures that are quantifiable to deliver additional value to client
Identify professional development opportunities for staff
Development and execution of a succession plan for those sites in their control
Ensures utilization of OCG tools in the delivery of the solutions (Operating System � Growth and Development Planning � Audit � Momentum)
Financial planning and performance management for those sites within their oversight (P&L)
Ensure OCG standards are maintained as it relates to payroll, invoicing and reconciliation
Creation of business review materials with the CoE
Assist in the development of key partnerships to increase market presence within current client base
Strategy development with CoE to enhance the current brand - service offerings to increase market share
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor�s degree in Engineering or related field and have extensive experience operating in a Lean or R&D of a related engineering environment.
5 years minimum experience in Engineering Management
Ability to lead varying Engineering Disciplines (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, etc.)
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels both internally and externally
Experience with team building practices and techniques
Prior direct management experience
Must be able to prioritize and make quick decisions
Strong quality background � Six Sigma preferred
Ability to qualify and quantify results
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
