We are looking for a junior to mid-level software engineer with 2+ years of Windows Embedded development experience.
Candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of support software for industrial PCs. This is a great opportunity to work for an established and growing company.

REQUIRED
- 2+ years experience developing Windows Embedded software
- Must have experience with C++
- Must have experience with Windows Embedded operating systems and tools
- Must understand and practice good software engineering disciplines
PREFERRED
- C#
- Version control systems (such as SVN)
- Some experience with Linux Operating Systems helpful
OVERVIEW
Candidate will collect software requirements and will develop software that is deployed on standard and custom system images. Development is primarily for Microsoft Windows standard and embedded operating systems. Responsibilities will include the following:
- Develop software utilities for industrial computers
- Work with a team and develop functional specifications
- Design the software to be consistent with other company products and architectures
- Implement software using the development environment and tools in use by the development team
- Unit test developed software to verify the behavior to the specification
- Maintain and foster a good working relationship with other software engineers and QA engineers assigned to tasks
- Keep up with new technologies and operating systems and lead adoption of those technologies by the team.
