SOFTWARE ENGINEER |

| Description: | Responsible for embedded systems software development for HVAC control units. |
| Duties: | 1. Software design (from draft to test and final implementation) for HVAC control units (embedded systems and PC). Responsible for analyzing customer requirement and writing software requirments, system requirements and reviewing with customer.
2. Software
A. Functional: (hardware drivers, analog/digital I/O, control algorithms, serial interfaces (J1708/1939, CAN GMLAN, ISO9141, KW 2000) and diagnostics
B. Development support: data monitoring and data acquisition
C. Manufacturing support: ICT, EoL, Burn In
D. Lanuage: C, ASM, VB, C++
3. Develop software specifications together with customer
4. Cooperate closely with hardware design, test and manufacturing personnel
5. Perform road and wind tunnel tests with customers, as required
6. Present as project team representatives in customer meetings (traveling)
7. Provide support in acquisition of new projects
8. Participate in multi-disciplinary team during development of product from concept to
production in efficient and timely manner
9. Mat Lab/ Simu Link knowledge is preferred. Targetlink experience also preferred.
10. Work with software testing group to give fast feedback on software issues.
11. HIL Dspace experience preferred.
12. Ability to use vector tools, CANoE, CANape.
13. Responsible for integration and release of code.
14. Strong communication skills and experience representing suppliers at the customer on software issues.
15. Field trouble-shooting of software issues on vehicles.
16. Experience with OEM diagnostics requriemetns, Chrysler preferred.
17. Responsible for specification of the fabrication of the load equipment, including assistance on HIL development
18. Responsible for making software timing plans
19. Knowledge of CMM or SPICE requirements.
20. Knowledge of flash over CAN, Emulated Eprom programming
21. Preferred knowledge of NEC, and Fujitsu micro-controllers
22. Must be self directed with the ability to interact with international teams.
VII. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL USED IN PERFORMING THE JOB:
� Software: structured editors, compilers, assemblers, linkers and debug tools.
� Hardware: emulators, programmers, bus monitors tools, oscilloscope and logic analyzers
� Ability to use vector tools, CANoE, CANape
� DOORs or equiavalent requirements analysis equipment.
� Knowledge of vector tools
� Dspace, Mat/Lab Simulink, signal builder, HIL.
� MSproject, MSOffice, Outlook, Word, Excel.

| Qualifications: | � Minimum (5) years experience in embedded system software design and circuit design; automotive design background preferred
� Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; MSEE preferred
� Excellent computer skills
