| Description: | General Summary:
Under limited direction, responsible for the development of instructor-led courseware for regional affiliates, including analysis, design and development training materials and curricula that are instructionally-sound, grammatically correct, consistent with approved style guides, meets customer expectations, communicate learning concepts effectively, holds audience attention and are completion of assignments in accordance with project plans and schedules.

| Duties: | Essential Responsibilities:
1. Collaborates with internal customers to identify and assess training and performance improvement needs of the organization, process and job levels.
2. Collaborates with internal subject matter experts, affiliate training departments and/or external training providers to select, design, develop, customize and deliver appropriate technical and non-technical training and performance improvement initiatives.
3. Research content, gleaning information from technical, soft skill, and business documentation, company associates and management, or other technical subject matter experts.
4. Plan and enhance initial and existing designs.
5. Writing of Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) based learning objective, writing and organizing content to support learning objectives, multi-task and work on multiple projects with diverse group of professionals, and applying ADDIE model to course development in a professional/ business environment.
6. Accepts responsibility for courseware development, timelines and budget activities, as assigned.
7. Development of solution(s) to a variety of complex problems.
8. Organizing and laying out content visually to instructions and pre-established guidelines, as assigned.
9. Limited travel to support the development and validation of course materials may be required.
10. Attends seminars and conferences to keep apprised of-new issues and emerging trends within the field.
11. Ensures compliance with general organization-wide and department-specific ISO/TS 16949 requirements.
12. Participates in and supports environmental ISO 14001 and safety activities by developing supporting goals and objectives, attending required training, complying with established procedures and initiating and implementing corrective actions, as needed,
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

| Qualifications: | Minimum Level of Education and Training Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human. Resources, Education, Instructional Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of five years or more experience as an instructional designer producing WBT (Web-based Training) and ILT (Instructor Led Training) materials.
Minimum Level of Knowledge and Skills Required:
Analytical skills to find solutions to difficult situations. Assignments are received in the form of results expected; determines proper course of action. Recognizes cause and effect relationship despite intervening steps. Anticipates problems and recognizes need for modified approaches; understands importance of adapting past experiences in present work environment. Generates new ideas and responds with several alternative options.
Written and verbal communication skills for varied interaction involving a wide range of subjects. Influences and anticipates needs of others and acts as subject matter expert. Wide latitude for the manner in which communications are structured. Situations may be controversial or sensitive and may lead to confrontation. High levels of diplomacy and tact are required in order to build - consensus and negotiate resolutions while garnering support; skillful presenter.
Customer service skills to address customer issues and partner on resolutions. Approaches every business relationship as a partnership. Makes concentrated effort to keep relationships positive and fruitful.
Project management skills including the ability to define program, project or process objectives, identify customers/stakeholders and their interests, plan steps, and to coordinate resources to accomplish goals and objectives in an effective and timely manner.
Advanced knowledge and demonstrated competency in working with computer application software and web-authoring tools in order to develop instructional materials and evaluate training data.
Minimum Level of Physical Effort Required:
Concentrates and pays close attention to detailed job responsibilities. Stands or sits, walks and typically lifts 10 pounds or under.
