| Description: | Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
� Interface with assigned customers to identify opportunities and provide necessary support to acquire new business. Maintain necessary records of communication between customer and Engineering for future reference.
� Develops concepts and drawings based on customer, marketing, and sales team inputs. Ensure the correct part is specified to meet or exceed customer expectation.
� Manage assigned projects in compliance with Design Control procedure (SOP 04.1) per established timing including oversight of required elements:
� Design & Development Planning
� Product Specification development and review
� Design Verification & Validation Planning
� Engineering Drawings
� Prototype Control
� Design Analysis (DFM/A, VE / VA, DFMEA, FEA)
� Design Verification
� Design Validation
� Engineering Outputs
� Design Reviews
� Design Release
� Manage assigned projects in compliance with Design Change procedure (SOP 04.2) per established timing.
� Interface with assigned customers to resolve product design issues. Troubleshoot specific customer design concerns and executes correction strategies. Issues may require resolution in compliance with Corrective Action Procedure (SOP 14.1).
� Serve as Engineering Representative on team responsible for compliance with Norma Advanced Product Quality Planning (SOP 02.1). With other team members, present status and action plans for project to management.
� Serve as an Engineering representative for assigned customers for Contract Review (SOP 03.1).
� Conduct & record Lessons Learned analysis for future reference.
� Assumes responsibility for related initiatives as needs arise
� The responsibility and authority for the Quality Functions for this position are defined in the Level 2 Procedures, Level 3 Work Instructions, and the Authority Matrix (Appendix C) of Quality Manual.
� Continuously strives for improvement in performance of all responsibilities
� Travel � Out of town travel not expected to exceed 25%
