| Description: | GENERAL SUMMARY
The objective of the Bihler Specialist position is to be able to make �quality� set ups with little or no supervision and be able to act as a leader or trainer for other personnel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
� Reads and interprets blueprints and utilizes precision checking equipment to provide set ups meeting quality criteria
� Is proficient in the operation and maintenance of a Bihler machine
� Assists with die builds and completes repairs related to Bihler tooling
� Is familiar with Program Logic Code (PLC) on the Bihler equipment
� Is capable of troubleshooting machines, tooling, and part problems related to Bihler machines
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS
� Keep area clean and free of debris.
� Assist in repair or PM of slide tooling when needed
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
� Ability to read and write and follow verbal instructions in order to procure parts and materials. Understand and follow written and verbal instructions when receiving and issuing requisitions.
� Ability to follow computer software and associated keyboard skills.
� Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
� Practical and mechanical application of fractions and percentages.
� Candidate must have related experience and demonstrated ability to grasp responsibilities, to include mechanical aptitude testing.
� Have or be able to obtain a hi-lo license within the probationary period.
