| Description: | Facilitate the delivery of services to high-risk students in an effort to reduce out-of-home and out-of-school placements. This position will specifically be assigned to work with Iraqi refugee students.
Twelve month work year. Market Range of $34,000 to $44,000 annually. |
| Duties: | Serve as facilitator for referred students and their families to connect with local services.
Facilitate meetings in keeping with Wraparound models and philosophy to work toward reduction and elimination of out-of-home and out-of-school placement and remove barriers to academic success.
Serve as a resource to train child/family teams and the community in the Wraparound process.
Strong ability to connect with key community agencies, resources and populations.
Attend and provide staff support for all meetings and subcommittees of the Wraparound Community Team.
Actively advance the philosophy of Wraparound services by participating in training opportunities.
Prepare and submit all required ancillary documentation including, but not limited to, Child and Family Status Reports, CAFAS reports, billing summaries, time reports, and progress notes.
Strong ability to effectively communicate with refugee students and their families in field and home based environments.

| Qualifications: | Bachelor�s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field. Master�s degree preferred.
Bilingual abilities as necessitated by targeted Arabic population.
Two or more years of related experience in community agencies linking children and families to needed services and programs.
Valid Michigan drivers� license.
Ability to properly operate required office equipment such as a personal computer, fax machine, copier and the like.
