| Description: | Job Responsibilities:
What is the new associate expected to do?
1) With the development team, meet with the customer to determine requirements and project status.
2) Document and manage the requirements.
3) With team support, develop and elaborate on system requirements and refine into a design
4) Use Software Engineering best practices to develop software with minimal guidance while ensuring sufficient quality to achieve the project objectives.
5) Eventually, be the in house expert of the developed system
Results to be achieved:
What are the results to he achieved?
1) Develop requirements and architecture for next generation PEPS system
2) Develop architecture, system design and software to meet the requirements
3) Become the technical expert for transitioning the system prototype from a proof of concept into a production intent system
4) Support the RPQ and technical review processes
Travel or Special assignments are involved
What travel or special assignments are involved?
(a) What? Weekly meetings at customer�s local office, minimal travel for conferences etc.
(b) Where? Conferences or technology Vendors
(c) How often? Quarterly
(d) Average length of stay? Max 1 week

| Qualifications: | Knowledge:
Education requirement:
BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent
Experience required:
5+ year�s experience
Area/Type of experience:
Minimum:
� Prior Experience Developing Software for Embedded Systems using the C Programming Language
� Knowledge of good engineering practices to ensure software qualify; especially requirements management
� Knowledge of debugging hardware/Software interfaces using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes
� Ability to use ICE and Debuggers to debug software
Desire:
� Experience acting as a technical lead or local expert
� Familiar with OOP in using a high level language (Java, c#, etc,)
� Knowledge of various wireless communication standards (ISM, LF, RP bands)
� Wireless communication encryption experience (ex, AES)
Skills/Abilities needed:
Minimum:
� Good Communication Skills
� Self-reliable to team on own
� Knowledge of vehicle ECU and communication architectures
� Ability to manage requirements determined from meetings with the customer
Desired:
� Ability to load a software development effort
� Knowledge of Passive Entry/Passive Start Systems
