To install, repair, modify, test and trouble shoot all products, past and present, both in the field and from the office, by phone or fax whenever or wherever the customer requests.
Job description
Job duties include the following:
1. Analyze and repair equipment in the field with little or no line-up or technical support.
2. Respond and eliminate customer emergencies in a rapid, efficient and professional manner.
3. Conduct training seminars on various products with engineers or skilled trade personnel.
4. Advise customer on proper maintenance & relevant suggestions to improve line efficiencies.
5. Update software and modify equipment whenever necessary.
6. Travel to customer facilities including local, out-of-town and overseas for equipment installation and repair.
7. Transport necessary spare parts to and from customer locations.
8. Handle customer complaints in a courteous and understanding manner.
9. Improve Company image by resolving customer situations with a rational and methodical approach.
10. Train Service Trainees.
11. Spindle validation.
12. Support activities for the Service Manager.
13. Work effectively under stressful conditions
14. Correct sequence of operations and offer suggestions to improve service manuals. |
| Qualifications: | Educational requirements
Technical associate degree and/or 2+ year�s equivalent experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Additional information
Travel normally in excess of 80% working time. Some of these assignments will be for extended periods of time. |
